So it seems I've gotten back into my old habit of ignoring this. Probably because the only two people who read it, I tell everything to anyways....or one of you was there!
So this week was Isa birthday weekend, which comprised of buying her a silly hat and making her wear it all day much to her dismay. Also, it allowed me to tell everyone that saw the hat and wished her a happy birthday how hold she is now. Of course, upon reflection this may not have been the best idea as my own 3-0 is looming closer. As much as I joke about it and whine, though, I think I'm relatively okay with it. The most difficult thing to swallow is more than I feel like I'm still in my teenage years and I'm not quite ready yet for the 'grown-up' that 30 implies. Then I talk to my 30 year old + friends and realize it's all in my head and 30 is the new 16.
On the graduation front, it's looming ever closer. I really am not ready for the graduation, mostly because I feel like I lack the time to really get into my final project. The fact that I mis-use any time I have doesn't really help the situation. I want to get it finished early, however, just to have it done and out of the way. I really don't want to be writing it all the last evening before it is due. Everyone at school says I have a jumpstart on them and I'm so much farther, but I can't imagine that this is true because of how behind I feel. I have about 4 more weekends to get this done, which is not a really bad time frame. I have 20 to 40 more pages to write, so a good 5 to 10 pages a weekend should be fine. The problem is I pass out after one or two pages. Hopefully this will get better over time!

Angels spree
Here I hang at the Angel's game wondering where my amazing team from last year went ( to the red sox and mariners). Today was very basic, work-midterm-angels game. My eyes are shutting, though, the late nights catching up with me. I have so much I need to do but seemingly no time to do it in. So what do I give up? Exercise, angels games, time with the family? None of the options really strike me. Hopefully tomorrow will see improvement. But it looks hysterical as jam packed.

Easter Success
While to a good number of people this was supposed to be a weeken if relaxation and remembrance, for me it was a battle if will versus laziness. I did manage to get my second transcript done, which should be the last of the 'worst' of it. I also got to spend a chunk of time with Andrew, though never as much as I want.
Last night was a little unsucessful though, as Easter dinner consisted of me losing my battle and eating dessert, which resulted in a 5lb gain on the scale this morning. Eeek! So this week will be dedicated to fully on plan food and exercise until my body gives out. To reach my goal I need to lose at least 4.25lbs a week. Good luck with that, right? Well, I'm gonna focus on the 'close as I can' goal now. Food will not defeat me!

Hip Hip Hooray....BOOO!!!!!!
So I went to my first ever hockey game last night. Of course I've watched them on TV, but it never really seemed all that spectacular to me. It was fun, especially with my Dad whom I always have a blast spending quality 1:1 time with. The man is hilarity in a box. Anyways, the game started out slow to me, lots of movement on the ice without a whole lot of potential for scoring. Suddenly the ducks score one, yay! The crowd erupts, and so does a fight...now THIS is what I watch hockey for. Sadly, that was to be the last fight of the evening (obviously they're just not doing this right!). The rest of the game with a bit of a catch up session. Canucks scored, then ducks again, then canucks again, then ducks again, then canucks again and in the last few minutes of the game...Ducks tie it up! So we go into 5 minutes of overtime. No one scores, we managed to keep the puck out of our goal though during a power play. Then the shootout - we score, then score, we miss, they score, we miss again, then score...game over. It was exciting, but somehow lacked something. I suppose because in baseball every hit is a potential score...but in hockey though while they're moving around a lot...most of the time it's no where near the goals. I am still appreciative of getting the chance to go, and I really do like hockey! I think I was just raise a baseball girl. Hopefully I'll get another chance to go before the big move to England. Who knows, maybe I'll see more hockey games once I live there...part of Andrew's family is canadian so there may be a few visits!

There's an app for that!
So for some deranged reason I had to find an app to blog for my phone. Afterall, what use is an Iphone if you don't app everything? Lo and behold, there is a blogger.com app. How this is any different from using the web browser, I have no idea, but hey it works. I also downloaded an app that apparently let's me post movies from my phone onto my blog and/or facebook. Oooo. Aaahh. I know, it's a really slippery slope I'm on.
One a different note I'm feeling fairly positive and upbeat this morning despite the lack of sleep. As my loyal reader(s) may or may not know, I gave up caffeine about three months ago. Yesterday morning was a bit of a struggle so I indulged in a small cup of coffee. Badbadbad idea. I am still on the caffeine buzz from a little 6 oz cup over 24 hrs ago. Sleep was non-existant. I am somewhat thinking that this can be useful for the all-nighters I will be pulling due to my procrastination habits with my final project.
Ah well, hope it at least lasts through the day.
