Trying My Patience

I've 'recently' made an overhaul of my life, so I figure it's time for an overhaul of the blog as well. Old whiney posts deleted, wee!

So here is my thought for today, why do people say they're okay when they are obviously not? Is the thought that we're so stupid we don't get it? Lets be honest, sometimes it is hard to tell and you drop it. But when there is a complete change in tone and typical answering, then something happened. It could be something as simple as 'hey, I'm distracted'. Or even that the person is irritated but doesn't want to talk about it. Why so hard to fess up? Why the need to make the other person feel like their intelligence is in question? I don't know, it just really makes me angry when I'm made to feel like I'm stupid. I'm sorry, I'm a therapist now, I can *tell* when something is different. I can't always tell what it is, but I know it's not normal. If you don't want to talk about it or tell me, fine, say that.

So that's my rant for today...let's see how much I talk on this now.
